Lovely guaranteed old, authentic, original is this fabric over board victorian wall pocket. Needlepoint flowers, crochet edges, I am thinking this could have been for sewing?

The top centerpiece is stuffed and could be a pin cusion. The pocket look like the could have held scissors and other sewing supplies, hair combs, etc.

Measures approx 15\" high x 13.5\" wide.

Fabric covered cardboard? The board has can bend across near where the center piece extends past the piece. This does not affect the look or functionality.

black velvet, pinkish flowers and center fabric. Shades of brown crochet on edges.
