here is a great Chinese fan, black and gilt lacquer mounting, highly detailed scenes of court figures are hand painted in landscapes (clothes insilk and bone cut heads), 2 different scenes on each side, second with paradise birds.
Each figure is individually painted and applied ox-bone face as you can see in pics,
The piece is nested in its original lacquer box.
Condition is excellent, no face is missing, no tear or glue, wonderful condition with only some normal minimal wear....
MEASUREMENTS of Fan : 28 cm tall and 52 cm opened - end to end.
MEASUREMENTS of box : 31 x 6 cm, some wear in the paper inside box.
