19thc Sevres Porcelain Gilt Metal Mantle Clock Signed Mourey Japy Freres:
Fresh out of an early Maine estate collection.
Louis XVI revival Sevres porcelain mounted gilt metal mantel clock. Measures approximately 13 1//8" x 4 3/4" x 14". Case signed Phillipe Mourey (1840-1910) (Paris) 1873. Brass clockworks made by Japy Freres & Co, (stamped under the bell). Missing, pendulum, minute hand and key. Per estate, was working fine - I'm selling as is, not working, as can't validate that it is working without pendulum and key. In period condition, some repaired cracks in circular piece below of woman's portrait, as seen in photo, think needs to be tightened up a bit, screw and bolt inside. All very solid. Weighs over 13lbs. Glass door in back over mechanism. Please see all photos as to type and includes custom packaging and insurance.
