Jacket is not price-clipped.
There is no writing, inscriptions or stains inside or out.
The colors and illustrations are bright and clean, but there is mild sun fading to the spine of the jacket.There are no scratches or scuffing just light rubbing.
The inside flap corners are sharp with slight bend to the front upper inside corner.
There is minor edge wear present, but no tears or folds, just some bumping/wrinkling.
The corners wrapping the boards are in good shape, with some bumping/wrinkling (see picture #5).There is a very small wrinkle to the spine just below the word \"Chamber\", but it is hard to see, and there is some edge wear and wrinkling at the top and bottom where the jacket wraps spine board (see picture #5).
There is some shallow wrinkling on the back cover just to the left of the written description (see picture #\'s 2 & 5).
There is some minor dimpling/wrinkling along the front edge of the spine and also where the jacket wraps the board around the grille of the car, but hard to see unless at the right angle and lighting (zoom picture #\'s 1 & 5).

There is no writing or inscriptions inside or out.No bends, tears, dog-ears or dents to any pages.
There is no foxing, staining or dents to any of the page edges.
The cover colors and illustrations are bright with no fading or scratches very minimal rubbing.The corners have mild bumping/wrinkling, and minimal chipping to the front two corners (zoom picture #\'s 10-12).There is some edge wear present.
There is a line dent/wrinkle on the back cover from the outside edge to the left of the writing that extends less than 2\" towards the center, but you may not be able to see it in the picture as it blends very well with the illustrations (zoom picture #8).
The spine is nice with only a slight wrinkle along the front edge about 1\" down from the top, and separation between the wrap and board is beginning which can be seen a bit on the seem next to the cover page, but there are no loose or missing pages as the binding is still holding strong and it easily stands on its own as you can see in the pictures (see picture #9).
The pages have some yellowing from age.
As you can see from the pictures, the book and boards are in nice condition overall, but not without some flaws.
The book will be very carefully packed for shipping, placed in sealed protective sleeve, double bubble wrapped and securely boxed.
This book will make a wonderful and increasingly rare gift or addition for any HP Fan seeking an early 1st Edition copy of the Chamber of Secrets for their collection!
