I have for sale a clean U.S. WW2 early manufactured 1st pattern M8 scabbardin excellent condition. The scabbard is in cherry shape with all metal parts clean, webbing is very solid with no issues and very nice color . Throat is well marked \" U.S. M8 B.M. CO.\" as pictures show and has the war time stamp marking under the wing. The fiber body is damage freeretainingpretty much 100% of original paint, well marked on the back showing the Victory Plastic stamp over the number \"12\". It had a M1910 belt hook at one time from service conversion but was removed from what I see, other then that in it\'s true original configuration which production wise was very short as design went quickly to a longer strap with a M-1910 hanger.This would make a great addition to any clean M3 fighting knife looking for a home as that was the standard item for line doggies packing a BAR or M1 Carbine web belt.
