Two antique genuine Baltic translucent honey or cognac amber faceted bead necklaces for restringing. Both are circa 1920. The larger necklace weighs 43 grams. The beads are graduated from the center. It has half of its original screw barrel clasp only. The opposite part of the
original clasp is missing. It has 70 beads including the one clasp bead. The largest center bead is 17mm and the smallest end beads are 6mm. Total length is
about 27 inches, and width is just over 5/8 inch at center. The beads are currently strung on a combination of original thread and new thread, tied together in
several places, and need to be restrung immediately.The smaller necklace is a very small child's necklace, missing its original clasp, on its original thread, with four beads off the thread, and needs to be restrung
immediately. The beads are slightly graduated from the center. It weighs 6 grams. It has 52 beads. Total length is about 12 inches (without a clasp), and the
beads graduate in size from 7mm to 5mm. Total weight of all beads is 49 grams. Faint age related crazing in many of the beads. Guaranteed genuine amber. Nice variegated color. Beads are in excellent condition. Both necklaces must be restrung immediately. Both necklaces need a clasp. Display form is life size. Photos enlarged to show detail.
