Pair of matching antique dresser or table doilies.Linen fields surrounded by delicate Schiffli French lace. Swirled leaf pattern with winged creatures -- Angels or Mermaids -- by a large urn. Doilies measures approximately 14\" x 10\".Pieces have many breaks in tiny threads, linen field tearing away from lace in a few areas, linen fields do not match in shape, one linen nap sticking out of back side of one doily, and some discoloration (mostly caused by my iron when damp ironing and should come out with a good soaking -- and better iron than mine). Amazing fabric art pieces that display well even in as-is condition. These look wonderful by themselves, and also look fabulous when paired with larger colored doily underneath.
