2 Empty Kah Tequilia Bottles, Skulls, Handpainted, Decanter, Day Of The Dead:
2 empty and extremely cool KAH glass tequilia bottles, decanters in 750 ml size
They measure about 6 1/4" tall and about 6.5" wide .The Black Bottle named "Rest in Peace" is hand-painted in white with skulls and decorative artwork:
The KAH Tequila Añejo bottle is designed with black and white motifs to represent the practices of Nicaraguans who take "rest in peace" to a whole new level. While they perform similar traditions to other Latin American counterparts (IE. decorate graves, bring food to alters to honor the dead), they also often sleep at the grave-sites of their deceased. The idea is that by sleeping with the dead, Nicaraguans reinforce the emotional connection they hold with those loved ones that have passed.
The Yellow Bottle known as "El Diablo" has the devil hand painted in red along with other designs and artwork:
The KAH Tequila Reposado bottle is painted as "El Diablo". The use of devil imagery was inspired by Day of the Dead celebrations in Peru. The festival takes place the week before November 5th on the banks of Lake Titicaca, The traditional dances (complete with dangling red crucifixes) are rumored to be led by the devil himself. Traditional dances are dedicated to Satan. This region of Peru is mostly a mining area and workers spend much time underground. According to ancient Incan beliefs, Satan lives underground making the miners vulnerable to his powers due to their daily proximity. The festival is designed to honor Satan, thus keeping the workers safe. The even pour Tequila on the ground for the devil to drink.
These bottles are in excellent condition and would make a great addition for the tequila or liquor decanter collector.
Also great for Halloween or Day of the Dead celebrations.
Grab these up before they are gone.
