This sale is for a very sweet pair of Japanese wood kokeshi dolls from the 1970\'s, and features an elderly couple or \"Grandma and Grandpa\". Grandpa measures 7\" high and 7.5\" in circumference around his chest area. He\'s wearing a handsome reddish brown/mahogany-colored Haori coat over his beige kimono, which is decorated with large brown and white Japanese maple leaves. He\'s also wearing a hat that matches his coat.
Grandma measures 5.5\" high and 6\" in circumference around her chest area. She\'s wearing a matching reddish brown/mahogany-colored Haori coat over her beige kimono, which is decorated with large green and white flowers. She\'s also wearing a green obi with a metallic gold lotus flowers. Grandpa has a white \"goatee\" type beard that matches Grandma\'s carefully combed hair and bun. They have adorable facial features which include cheerful smiles and well-earned wrinkles on their foreheads and near their eyes. They both still have their original Japanese white, black and red stickers on the bottom. Adorable! Please see below for flaws.

This lovely pair of Japanese wood kokeshi dolls is in good vintage condition - hard to find many flaws - and they would make a great addition to your growing collection. White areas are camera glare.
