Up for sale with is a fine estate Collection of 2 Antique Sterling Silver Articulated Figural Fish. If you are familiar with my sales you will know I have sold a fine collection of these over the past month and they garnered quite a bit of interest. This is the final 2 from the collection and I have lotted them up as I simply am running out of time to settle this estate. The First Fish is a very fine example with a fully articulated body and what I am sure would be Ruby Eyes. It is fully Hallmarked and I believe would be Dutch Solid 800 Grade Silver by the Hallmarks. This beauty has a fully functioning hinge for the head to open, but whatever was inside is now missing. The 2nd Fish is also fully articulated but seems to be just a sculpture, not a box as no part opens that I could find. This beauty is Hallmarked Spanish Sterling Silver and has a great ferocious look to his face. It has no faults and is in excellent condition. The Smaller Fish measures 3" long, the Larger Fish measures 4-3/4" long and the lot combined weighs 44 grams. I doubt you will find another lot like this up for sale again, let alone with !
