Here are 2 vintage 50\'s Lefton hand painted ceramic vanity bottles / jars / containers. Empty condition - nothing is stored inside. Bottles are clean inside and have no odor - were probably just used for display. Cork stoppers are also clean, no stains or odor.White glazed ceramic with hand painted pink accent and gold-gilt trim. Bottle and lid corners have indents. Bottle fronts have 12 painted flowers each and the content title in gold letters. Lids are decorated with 18 inset / glued in clear rhinestones (except 1 stone is missing).Each bottle bottom is marked with the colorful \"Lefton China Hand Painted\" crown logo and also stamped \"(c) Geo. Z. Lefton 1956 KW90045\". Lids are unmarked.
No cracks or crazing. One bottle has 2 little base chips. Minor wear overall to the paint and gold trim - I note if it shows more wear. Cork stoppers fit snugly and are not cracked or chipped. No musty or smoke odor.- \"COLOGNE\" BOTTLE: Stands approx. 5\" tall and 2 1/2\" x 2 1/2\" across the bottom. The lid has 17 of 18 rhinestones - missing one stone. More wear to the upper gold trim lines.- \"ASTRINGENT\" BOTTLE: Stands approx. 5 1/8\" tall and 2 1/2\" x 2 1/2\" across the bottom. Has all 18 rhinestones, however two on top and one on the side have darkened or clouded and may have been replaced or re-glued. More wear to the upper gold trim lines and some flowers. Has a small shallow chip on the backbottom rim and another shallow chip on the lower back / side corner.Store inventory number 2834.Click here to enter our Store
