This is a 2001 Mercury 25-HP 2-Stroke Outboard Motor. It is a 2-cylinder, 2 stroke, 15\" short shaft motor. It features manual start,tiller control operation, forward/neutral/reverse gear shift, 3 blade aluminum propeller, and runs on an external gas tank. Engine was a recent trade in for a new Yamaha. Has great compression of 115/120 and hot blue spark. I have not run the motor nor do i have time so it is sold as is. Great motor for a Whaler, Inflatable, or any other kind of boat.
