This is a Barney toy which is becoming harder to find. Dated 2002 Mattel it is item #90611.
Inside is an interactive learning laptop with 5 changeable double sided plastic \"cards\". The cards store in an opening on the backside of the closed toy. There is a carrying handle that makes it easy for little ones to take this toy wherever they go.
Operates on 3 \"AA\" batteries which are in place and working. Will leave in but cannot guarantee their life.
Approx. 8 in. long X 6 1/2 in. wide X 2 1/2 in. deep.
When you open the toy you will see a screen opening at the top where the cards fit. Barney will start talking asking you to \"press a button\". There are numbers from 1-10 and 6 colored shapes. The activation button is Barney\'s head. If you do not answer Barney will say goodbye or \"let\'s play again\" and it will automatically shut off. Then to play again, simply press the Barney button.
When you put a card in Barney will ask questions related to the cards, such as \"how many crayons do you see\" or \"Find the color of the backpack\" or \"the picnic basket is the shape of a rectangle\". Each card will prompt lots of questions for your little one...and all with Barney\'s voice.
Barney toys are becoming harder to find. This one is in good played with condition. Minor scuffs from being handled with small hands. I had a die-hard Barney fan a few years ago and Barney toys went with us all the time. It has been well loved but still works great. Barney\'s voice is very clear.
Look at photos and ask any question before you offer. Sold as is. It is not new but in good condition. Nice Barney toy!
