DESCRIPTION:

This listing is for a lovely German bisque head doll. Incised on the back of her bisque head is \"CM Bergmann, Waltershausen, 1916, 5\". Reference attributes to German maker CM Bergmann 1890+, with the bisque head made by Simon & Halbig. She measures 21\" tall being a bisque socket head on strung, composition wood doll body. Body shows some overall wear, line crazing, scuffs, for being 100 or so years old, but a good German body. Doll is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, legs and knees with all fingers intact. There are red accent lines on the fingers for that realistic look. I had her \"re-strung\" and she displays well sitting or standing with a doll stand. Doll has a \"sweet\" face with open and close brown glass sleepy eyes that work fine, retains most of her upper hair eye lashes, painted lashes around the eyes, feathered brown brows, she has open mouth with upper teeth and rose color blush on her \"Perfect\" little face, there is a little dimple in her chin. I flashed inside her head and do not see any cracks or hairlines. Wears long blonde human hair wig that is glued on a pate that goes over her head. A few hairs out of place but old and charming. She wears a green dress with embroidery accents that snaps down the back, slip, pantaloons, stockings and shoes. Her clothing is clean and in nice condition. There is a straw hat with green ribbon to compliment her dress. I have taken plenty of photos. Please look at my photos they will serve as part of this description. This is a lovely old German doll for collection or display. Offering to you as is condition shown with Buy It Now listing. Doll stand is not included.
