DESCRIPTION:
UP FOR ADOPTION here is an \"adorable\" old composition cloth baby doll. Reference shows similar madeby Acme, Louis Amberg & Son, Ideal and othersin the 1920s period. I do not know the past history or maker, doll is unmarked as many were. If doll has had the body replaced or recovered I can\'t tell, it feels straw filled. Measures 22\" tall being a composition shoulder head, hands with fingers intact, repaint on the hands, with printed cloth body. A \"delightful\" little face with painted blue eyes, worn off brows, molded painted mouth with two painted upper teeth. Doll has auburn brown painted molded hair. Line crazing throughout this composition shoulder head, see photos. Wears floral overalls with top, stockings and shoes. There is a matching cap. Clothing is in nice condition.
