24\" Antique Kestner Century Baby. This chunky baby is a harder to find mold number. She has a bisque head with blue sleep eyes on a composition shoulder plate with composition arms and legs. All fingers and toes are intact and in great condition. Some crazing to arms and legs. Her body is cloth with a cryer on the lower back that does not work. She has her original blonde mohair wig and antique pate, antique cotton undies and a dark teal wool dress. I\'m not certain if the clothes are original to her, but they fit well. Her socks are probably replaced as they appear to be nylon. Shoes are cloth and in worn condition. In 1925 the Century Doll Company advertised that it had a new series of bisque-headed dolls to be made by Kestner, possibly to compete with the popular Bye-lo baby.
The back of her head is inscribed: \"Century Doll Co.\" Kestner Germany 281/????I can\'t read the number after 281 as the head is tightly strung and I don\'t want topull too hard for fear that I could break the neck hole opening.
Overall she is in great condition with the exception of a tight hairline crack above her right eye that extends to the crown of her head. You have to look very hard to see it. Please see photos.

Doll is from a non-smoking home. I do, however, have cats, but all of my dolls are kept behind glass or out of their reach for obvious reasons!!
