UP FOR ADOPTION I am pleased to offer you this “delightful” larger size antique character baby doll. Incised on the back of her bisque head is \"Porzellanfabrik-Bunggrub. 169, 7, Germany\".Reference attributes this mold to several German makers, heads made by Hertel Schwab & Co., for Kley & Hahn mold 169 baby, also Schoenau & Hoffmeister mold 169 baby.I do NOT know the past restoration history but will try to describe her the best I can with any flaws.Measures justabout 25\"tall being a bisque socket head on jointed bent leg composition baby doll body. A larger size baby head that measures over 15\" around the head above the brow area. Doll is strung just fine with metal hooks and stringing,some overall wear, scuffs on the body but all intact. I notice a little restoration was made on her fingers with composition and paint, email for photos if you like, the thumb on right hand shows paint loss.Absolutely beautiful Expressive character face with open and close blue glass sleepy eyes that work fine,baby has painted black lashes around the eyes, feathered brown brows, open mouth with two upper teeth.Nice color blush on her \"near perfect\" little face with no rubs or scratches on the cheeks,a chunky face with dimple in her chinaccents her overall charm. I removed the pate from her head to flash inside and do not see any cracks,there is plaster cement to secure the sleepy eyes on rocker as most doll people do, head is dirty inside I did not attempt to clean it.Blonde wig is secure on pate, shows wear and could use a little TLC.Doll wears a lovely off whiteantique gown with buttons down the back, embroidery trim, full slip, undies, knit booties and bonnet.Her clothing shows wear and may be as old asher, but charming.I have taken plenty of photos.
