25 Vintage Unused Christmas Greeting Cards Original Box ~ 30s Or 40s For Sale

Offered here is a vintagebox (shownin second picture)with 25 unused religious-oriented Christmas cards and their envelopesinsidewhich I believe are from the 1930s. Each one has a Bible verse on the inside. There are no duplications of cards -- 25 different cards. The paper used is beautiful. Some have foiling; a couple have window openings; many have raised areas of silvering (not glitter). Most of the cards measure 5-1/4" x 4"; some measure 4-3/4" x 3-3/4". The graphics are beautiful, the lettering is SO pretty, colors are perfect, and the verses are touching. This box of cards was purchased from an estate sale I attended in Hancock NY nearly 20 years ago. (I am listing another box of greeting cards from the same sale which are "used".) The box is in very good condition and the cards are in excellent condition. There is some yellowing of the envelopes and some of the glue bled through on a couple of the envelopes. Neither the cards nor envelopes have tears, bends, wrinkles, odors, etc. Imagine what a pretty collage you could make for a Christmas display -- these are beauties!
