UP FOR ADOPTION and possibly a little \"TLC\" here is a BIG \"HAPPY\" character baby doll. I do not know the past history or if any, what restoration was made but will describe the best I can. There is a \"hand written\" note attached to doll that says \"1930s HAPPY BABY, composition, cloth body, tin eyes, old baby clothing, 26\" tall\". Reference shows similar baby dolls made by various firms in the 1920s and 1930s with many being unmarked such as this doll. Measures 26\" tall being a composition head, hands with fingers intact, legs to knee with toes intact on cloth mama doll body, there is a non working crier in the back. Wear throughout body, shows some sewing repairs, composition shows some line crazing, scuffs, and re-paint throughout. I do notice \"line\" crack on the left side of her head that shows some glue, you may wish to do a little paint restoration on the composition, ... up to you, bonnet covers this area. Email if you would like a close up please. Doll has a great \"expressive\" character face with open and close blue tin sleepy eyes that work fine, retains upper human hair lases on eye lids, painted lashes under the eyes, dark blonde brows, has open mouth with two upper teeth and two lower teeth, there is a molded tongue. I believe lips have had paint touch-up. Doll has molded wavy brown hair. Wears \"lovely\" antique gown, undies, bonnet, stockings and knit booties, there is a knit sweater, see photos please. Clothing is in fine shape, charming and clean. I have taken plenty of photos, please look at my photos as they will serve as part of this description.
