RARE MAGNESIUM Old HOuse Ceiling Light Shade with Fixture. Perfect for the hall, entryway or staircase landing, office, porch. The Shade has Magnesium in the glass and over the years has turned it a light PURPLE. This was caused by the sun rays reacting with the Magnesium in the glass. They used to call it \"Sun Purple Glass\". At the bottom is the original extra large tassel finial . When Lit, its DRAMATIC as the glass lights up with an ABUNDANCE OF LIGHT. The Fixture has been refinished with oiled bronze paint, and comes with a new porcelain socket, new wiring and all the hardware for easy installation. One BRIGHT 150 watt bulb capacity. The ceiling hang is 25 inches down to the tip of the tassel. The length can be adjusted up or down. Please let us know for length and cost.
