Hello and
thank you for viewing our sale. You are offerding on a super fine, all
natural & mined Kashmir color sapphire & diamond ring cast in an authentic
vintage platinum mount. This ring comes to us via consignment so we have
limited information on its history, etc. What I can tell you is the sapphire
is 100% natural with visible inclusions & some color zoning visible only under
magnification. The color is absolutely TEXTBOOK PERFECT Kashmir. It is
RICH in color saturation being a cobalt blue with highlights of deep velvety
purple. The stone is an antique cushion cut (a rare cut for sapphire)
measuring 9.02 x 7.41 x 4.63 millimeters in diameter with an estimated weight
of approximately 3 carats! It is VS (type II per GIA) in clarity with naturals visible only under a loupe. The tone is of the sapphire is on the darker
side but it is never black or opaque - always deep, rich cobalt blue. Our
images below were taken using natural unfiltered/indirect window lighting
only. No fluorescent lighting used. We NEVER use artificial lighting to
enhance or alter a gemstone's appearance or color. The mounting is as equally
impressive as the sapphire with the custom (4) double pronged ends cradling
the center stone. There is one straight cut baguette diamond on each shoulder
measuring 5.0 x 2.30 mm in diameter weighing approximately .16 points each for
a combined weight of .32 carats. These diamonds are VVS in clarity and F/G in
color. They are completely colorless and loupe clean. The metal content is
solid platinum and the shank is hallmarked accordingly. The ring is currently
a size 6.5 but can be resized. The gram weight is a sturdy 4.0 grams. Circa
1940 - 1950's. Retail value is approximately $7,400.
Our photos have been enlarged to show detail so
please refer to the dimensions listed in the sale for the ring's actual
size.
Resizing is available.
Please contact us for details/pricing. We will need your desired ring
size in order to quote you a price. Please note resizing WILL delay
shipment of up to 5-7 business days. We are now
offering engraving on our items. Our master jeweler does
outstanding work. Please contact us for a quote. Please note we are unable to
accept returns on any item that has been resized or modified (by us or your
local jeweler). Please ask all questions prior to offerding.

buyers with a history of non payment, DELAYED payment, or those who often
leave negative/neutral comments for sellers PRIOR to contacting and affording
them the opportunity to resolve any problem you may have; please refrain from
offerding on our items. We reserve the right to refuse
a sale to those who we know are reselling for profit and those who we feel
abuse the response policy (or simply lack an understanding of how important
it is to a seller). This request is necessary in order to protect the
integrity of our account from non-paying buyers, fraud and unfair response
which runs rampant in the community.

each item, so you do not pay full price.
FOR PRE APPROVED INTERNATIONAL
SHIPPING, THE CHARGE WILL BE A FLAT RATE OF $39. With the latest postal
increase we can no longer afford to offer free shipping on our items. We do
not pad the cost of shipping to increase profitability.
Our items are
estate items which means they are previously owned and have typical wear and
tear of such. Items are sold as-is unless there has been a material
deviation in the description of the item. We can not accept returns on any
item that has been resized or modified from its original state.
Returns are not readily accepted due
to the high risk of stone swapping and internet fraud. We want happy,
repeat buyers. Should there be a problem with your item, you must contact
us within 72 hours of receipt. If a return is
necessary, you must ship the item back within 7 business
days and provide tracking information. Item must be received back
no later than 14 days from date item was first
received. We are very reasonable, extremely fair sellers but we are
not HIGH volume sellers. Our profit margin is MINIMAL and consigned items have
to be paid out in a timely fashion. PLEASE be mindful of this. We have been
selling on since 1998 and adhere to the very highest of standards.
Because our items are consigned and/or previously owned, occasionally we may
overlook something. Please give us the
opportunity to work things out prior to leaving less than perfect response. We
strongly believe that a transaction isn't complete simply because payment has
been issued and an item has been delivered. In the rare event an item
is returned, you will be refunded promptly, without delay and/or restocking
fees. We expect to be given a positive response in return. If you disagree
with our policy, DO NOT offer on our items. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS PRIOR TO
offerDING. WE DO NOT REFUND FOR BUYER'S
REMORSE!! Our items are listed at a fraction of their value. These
are estate pieces and can't be easily found in today's mass produced,
commercial market.
