In one family for 100+ years!Now selling a superb trio ofwine glasses with extraordinary deep-cut design work.The not-overly-busy bowl pattern boasts a hobstar on eachsideand is balanced with cross-hatches,arches and fans.The sparkle and clarityof the glass is outstanding. The stemis multi-sided and features alarge, faceted knobwith anelongated encasedbubble.The foot, which is nearly1/4\" thick,is scalloped withalternating fans and cross-hatchdetails.
My research has led me to attribute the glasses toDorflinger, who featured this faceted knob andscallopedfoot in their stemware services during the early20th century.This set belonged to my client\'s grandmotherwho acquiredthem in approximately 1915.
These glasses are 5\" tall and the bowl is 2 7/8\" diameter.There is a teeny tiny fleabite on the rim of one glass. Pleasesee the close-up. Otherwise these glasses are in near-perfectcondition.
