An original lot of around32 World War Two letters including the envelopesthat belonged to Private Cortland Kester. These were letters written to him. The letters are dated/postmarked 1944. All the envelopeshave writing or a stamp that says,deceased. I have a internet article that says Private Kester was in the 60th Infantry, 9th Infantry Division and died of wounds received in battle and was awarded the purple heart.I can provide the winning buyer a copy of this article or direct them to the website. I currently have other items listed that belonged to Private Kester.

Overall the letters are in very good condition, some have some wear.
