DETAIL OF COLLECTION....................For anybody interested in thegolden days of the American motor car, then this set is an absolute treat. Each picture was taken by a driver or passengeras they headed across the highways and byways of the United States. The set allows you to glimpse how the design of American automobiles evolved from the early bull nosed designs of the austere 1940's into the classic"tail fin" designs of the1950's still cherished today in movies and advertisments. We then move into the more austere decade of the 1960's when designs becamemore sedate.View once again the parking lots filled with beautiful vehiclesfresh from theshowrooms or lining the streets in Cities and small towns. People wearing the fashions of the day appear in a number of the slides, along with their gleaming pride and joy. The extra's do have a sepia tint but are still very interesting. A great set of periodslides to add to your collection.
