Fairset ofErie tie date nails. Set includes38 nails, the earliest a 10, the latest a 55. Most we traded for, all have beencleaned with the vinegar method. They would make a good addition to any railroadiana collection, nail collection or modeler's train room.

About 1/3 of these nails are nearly perfect and about 1/3 are very rough. The rest I would rank as being in fairshape. Most are straight with the heads sitting squarely on the shank, some of the rough ones are not and the shank on the 50 is definately curved.As you can tell by the photo, most of the heads are nice and display well, but you be the judge.

TheErie used date nails from 1910 to 1958 to tell what year the tie was put in place.
