TheJake mold is acute little Pixiefairyboy. He is a 2 part press mold used with polymer clay only. Porcelain or other liquids can not be cast in this type of plaster mold. It is made ofHydrostoneto last for years. No artist mold is perfect, they are handmade so please do not expect them to be flawless like commercialmass produced porcelain or ceramic molds.
Press clay into mold, pressthe two side together. Open mold and gently removelittle pixie boy Jake.
For easy release mist molds with water first before pressingthe clayin the mold.
No armature is sent with this mold. The moldpicturedbelow is what you are offerding on.The dollis just and example of what he will look like when he is finished.
