4\" Staffordshire English Porcelain Creamer Floral Decorated Newhall Ca. 1820:
$49.99

For sale is a 4\" porcelain pitcher made in Staffordshire around 1820. It is decorated in the New Hall pallet and style although I cannot attribute this piece to that factory. There is no pattern number on the base.
The pitcher starts from a plain round undecorated foot leading to a fluted lower section, a plain shoulder and a slightly flared top lip, spout and simple loop handle. The ribbed body is decorated on the main side with a bouquet of flower blooms in red with green foliage and to the back side with a very few small flower buds and leaves, the neck is decorated with a scrolling floral swag in iron red and green leaves, and there is further decorationto the handle of blue dots and dashes.
This is unmarked with pattern number or any other identifying marks. The underside of the foot looks to have ben intended to be unglazed however there has been runoff in the kiln so the undersideof the base is partially glazed.
This will be mailed to any address in the Continental US with insurance and delivery confirmation for $12.50.
