CASE:
This is an absolutely beautiful and rare square 2 piece snap back genuine ROLEX solid 18k yellow gold QUALITY watch case. The case is fully Rolex signed INSIDE AND OUT WITH FULL MARKS FOR 18K SOLID GOLD AND \'ROLEX\' in it too as well as a slightly rubbed ROLEX crown stamped on the outside of the case back. It is in excellent condition. The CURVED case back shows a few very light marks, but nothing which detriments the watch at all. The case sides are excellent. with no dings. The beautiful extended SCALLPOED solid 18k gold lugs are thick and solid. The case measures 1.6cms (16mm) across excluding the crown and lugs.
DIAL:
This is a wonderful totally original FULLY SIGNED white dial. The dial is in EXCELLENT ORIGINAL condition with some marks and a light patina. and all of the applied golden baton APPLIED numerals are nice. (see pics). The dial is fully signed ‘ROLEX’ in black lettering with the ROLEX CROWN too at the top of the dial and \'PRECISION\' at the bottom. The golden hands are in very good condition. The square plexi crystal shows some light wear under magnification.
MOVEMENT:
This is a wonderful clean genuine ROLEX FULLY SIGNED high grade quality 17 jewel movement. It is fully signed, and is engraved with the wording ’17 Rubies’ and ‘Swiss’ as well as \'Patent superbalance\' and \'Precision\' in a beautiful type set. This fantastic ROLEX movement has been serviced by my watch maker is in good working order, and is running well. I have timed it over 24 hours and it keeps good time to within a couple of minutes per day.The crown is gold in color and seems to be original to the piece. All in all this is a beautiful GENUINE ROLEX original movement.
BAND:
This lovely wrist watch has a black cordette/leather band fitted which has been lightly worn but is in very good overall condition. The watch and band measure approx 7 and a 1/2 inches in total length.
