Cast Spelter Statue
La PietaHere is a Catholic statue depicting the body of Jesus on the lap of his mother Mary after the Crucifixion. The two figure statue is made of cast spelter and hand gilded in silver. It stands 5 1/4\" tall x 3 3/4\" wide x 2 3/4\" deep and weighs about 1 lb. and 4 oz. without box. Except for some spots where the silver gilding has worn off, the statue is in Good condition. No cracks, no fissures, no breaks.
