This sale is for awonderfulantique5 3/4in. all originalGerman bisque doll. Although she is onlymarked with a "1" on the back of her head, I believe she is made by Simon & Halbig or Kammer & Rheinhardt. Perfect beautiful bisque head; blue sleep eyes, original eye wax on eye lid; one stroke painted eyebrows, painted upper and lower eyelashes; beautiful cheek blush; open mouth with upper teeth; original bobbed full light brownmohair wig. Heavy five piece composition bodypeg jointed at the shoulders and hips. Original finish to body with no repaint.Painted brown heeled shoes witha singlestrap and painted socks. Clothingis alloriginal to her.Cotton dress, probably pink at one time, with original bows at each shoulder and lace trim around the neckline, armholes and hemline. Hook and eye back closure. Matching Charlotte's mop cap made of the same fabric with lace trim along the edge that matches the trim on the dress. A little ribbon bow decorates the front.One piece onsie in cotton with ribbon trim at the front and lace trim along the neckline, armholes and leg edge. This has a snap on the backside for closure, but probably had a hook and eye or was sewn onto the doll.Stand not included. She is absolutelyadorable and in wonderfulcondition. Please read condition below andlook at all of the photos as they are part of the description.

CONDITION:Excellent condition for its age.The doll has no hairlines, chips, cracks or flakes.No damage to her hands or feet except for light scuffing consistent with play and age.Loose stringing but will stand nicely on a doll stand. Wig is short andfull as shown in the above photos.Body has original finish with some light scuffs and soiling as shown in the photos above. A few scuffs on the tip of the anddiscoloredfrom age (I have not laundered these).The lace trim around the left leg edge on the onsie and the right arm hole have pulled away and needs a few stitches to both areas. Lace is there but just needs to bereattached. A rust stainon the one side of the onsie, probably from a doll stand.Ribbons on the dress, onsie and hat are nice. Again,I have inspected this doll very closely and found no damage.Light soiling on her arms and legs consistent with age. All fingers are present.No odor and from a smoke-free environment.While I make every effort to describemy items to the best of my ability I encourage you to look at all of the photos so that you can form your own opinion of condition.
