This is a Fish Fossil from the Eocene Epoch (33.9 to 56 million years ago). I believe it to be a Knightia Alta fish. It was found in the famous Green River Formation near Kemmerer, Wyoming. The fossil is approximately 2.75 inches long. This fossil had really nice definition (please review the photo). It would look great in a collection or displayed by itself in your home.
