Many of you know us as longtime collectors and sellers of antique and vintage Hallowe'en, Christmas, and Easter holiday memorabilia, paper ephemera, antique dolls and toys, and lovely old china and glassware. For your consideration, we are happy to present a lovely grouping of six matching antique glass opensalt cellars or salt dips and two exquisite antique salt cellar spoons in different designs – both of which are marked STERLING!The sterling silver spoons are in MINT condition and a few of the salt dips have onlytiny flakes. The charming little spoons weigh in at 6.09 grams combined.We simply love the genteel manner with which Victorian, Edwardian,and pre-war tables were once set with such beautiful attention to detail!The heavy glass salt dips were made with a prism-like effect that looks stunning in candlelight. The sterling silver spoons are individuals – they each have aclassic tailored handle.

They are both clearly marked sterling. Note: the one spoon also has the word “Pat’d” which is short for the word PATENTED following the word sterling. The longest spoon measures 2 ½” long and the other measures 2 ¼” long.

Each salt cellar measures 2” wide x 1” high.As some of you may know, finding antique and vintage sterling in any form is getting very difficult because the price for anything made in precious metals continues to escalate. Unfortunately antique sterling pieces are being melted down for their silver content and therefore little spoons such as these treasures are highly-desirable and are likely to continue to increase in value.
