In this sale I am showing a lovely lot of 6 Early Vintage ~ Antique Fine Linen Royal Society Silk embroidered doilies. They are all scalloped edged with cream silk embroidery and there is a variety of sizes and in the dainty silk embroidered flowers. The smallest measures 4 7/8 inches in diameter and the largest is 8 inches in diameter. Overall they are in marvelous condition. The largest with pansies and butterflies has 2 of the 4 butterflies with damage and a slit in the linen near one butterfly. I see two doilies with tiny pin-holes and 1 with almost a pin-head size. One doily has thick fringe all the way around. offer with ultimate confidence and enjoy these rare Royal Society silk embellished doilies.
