62nd Penn. Letter On Magnus Mcclellan & Blenker Tinted Patriotic Stationery. For Sale
A colorful Union Civil War soldier's letter written on Charles Magnus, 2pp. 8vo., written by Pvt. Thomas Davis, Co. D, 62nd Penn. Vols., November 28, 1861 to his brother-in-law William Rees of the 103rd Penn. Vols. concerning going to the front and of their proximity to the enemy. He also states that they are well equipped and uniformed.
The stationery is nicely tinted with portraits of Union generals George B. McClellan and Louis Blenker. Each pages measures approximately 5" x 8".
