7.8 Oz Slab The Minesota Copper Mine Rockland-upper Michigan:
Up for your consideration is a 7.8 Oz from the Defunct Minesota Copper Mine ( started in the1840's ) in Rockland, Ontonagon County in Upper Michigan. The pictures tell the rest of the description story. The composition is Native Copper, Colored Quartz, and Colored Basalt. Slabs may have fractures in it. All work was done in my Lapidary shop in Ontonagon, Mi. Slab is ABOUT 3/8" thick. Polymer has been removed from the surface but still on the edges.
