Magnesium ribbon has many uses including lighting thermite, lab experiments, and just for fun. As with all chemicals, magnesium ribbon should be handled with care. It emits an extremely bright light when ignited so wear proper eye protection. An MSDS can be found here for full handling instructions. They should be followed carefully. to the slow shipping of USPS ORM-D Ground (2-4 weeks), we now only ship
by UPS Ground which is calculated on the shipping and payments tab. UPS ORM-D Ground typically takes 2-5 days typically.
Magnesium can be combined nearly with other items shipping UPS for very
little cost for shipping. Other sellers not shipping by ORM-D Ground,
are shipping it illegally and you may not receive your product. Sorry, no international or Hawaii/Alaska orders. All items ship within 2 days of receiving payment.
We do combine shipping on multiple items when possible.
-If there is a mix of USPS and UPS ORM-D Ground shipped items, then ALL the items will ship UPS ORM-D GROUND. Request an invoice after purchasing everything to receive a combined shipping invoice. UPS shipping is calculated and is based on weight and location. You can estimate it by using the shipping tab of the heaviest UPS ORM-D Grounditem purchased to calculate its shipping cost. After that, it is usually about $0.50 per pound and it will never be more than what is stated for the additional shipping costs on the shipping tab.
