This is a gorgeous high quality matching set of 8 vintage antique Irish Linen Damask Towels. Original tag /s included. (more pictures below description)

Never used these were found in a boxed set. Hand hemstitching. An oval center cartouche design with roses along the borders and rose design on the opposite end.

There is a huck weave in the center which is the best weave for utilitarian purposes of these towels with the lovely damask designs around the edges. Yes, it is possible to have your cake and eat it too with these towels. They are gorgeous and are wonderfully efficient at serving a purpose at the same time. These will wear like iron and stand up to today\'s washing machines and cleaning products. For collectors (because it is scarce to find a large unused matching set like this) or for vintage purists who actually want to use these vintage towels. You can\'t find quality like this in today\'s world.

A fabulous find! Each towel measures approx 17 inches wide x 30-1/2 inches long. Condition is really fabulous since there were unused there are no holes or stains from use. They are untreated. They have an overall light patina and a bit heavier tanning on the fold lines. This is easily removed in a short soaking.
