Up for sale with is an incredible service of Eight c1880 Lerosey Paris Porcelain Dinner Plates. The Plates are of exceptional quality made of the finest Pure White Porcelain. The Plates are also completely Hand Painted with the finest details I have ever seen. The Eagle Armorial and T family Monogram appear to be American and possibly from an important dinner service that was commissioned. The Armorial is certainly worthy of looking into as I am sure not just anyone could have afforded to have had a service like this commissioned. The Plates are each Hand Signed in Red on the bottom for the Important Paris Studio of M. Lerosey on the well known Rue de Paix in the French Capital which opened in 1880, although the artist himself was well into the porcelain business earlier and had many ventures with other prominent porcelain workers during the 1800's. I am told the mark dates the Service to the period of 1880-1890. The Plates are in excellent all original condition, some showing use wear as seen in the photos plus 2 have a couple minor chips and one has a hairline but 5 show no chips, cracks or repairs. The Plates are also a nice large size for use or display measuring 10-1/4" across. Be sure to check our other sales, we are also offering the matching set of Soup Bowls and a Lidded Serving Bowl.

In such cases we refund your shipping costs as well. Like you, we are only human, and make mistakes. Hopefully, not too many. But remember, the items you see are antiques. Hence, have an expected amount of wear from normal use. As such, returning an item because we failed to mention the tiniest bit of wear, or barely discernible flaw is not acceptable. Nor do we accept returns based on buyer's remorse, change of taste, or because a buyer did not realize how "small" four inches might be once in hand.
