JUST ARRIVED FROM NORWAY! We retired here from Norway some yrs. ago.Sincethen many have asked us to supply them with Norwegian \"festdrakter\" or \"bunad\" folk costumes so we continue to do so. Your questions are welcome. We arelisting many wonderful outfits from Norway in many sizes, colors and fabrics- from the reasonably pricedto the elaborate. Some are new, some have been on display and some are preowned and used 2-3 times. We try to have a good selectionfor you tochoose from and will do our best to help you find the one which suits you.

THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONALLY BEAUTIFUL BUNAD. This Norwegian bunad is for an 8 yr old or slightly built 10 yr old. The colors are wonderful. A true Christmas red soft wool cape against the red and black brocade, trim and skirt make it truly an outstanding piece. FROM NORWAY Polyester, cotton and rayon makes it extremely comfortable and virtually wrinkle-free. The cape is of a soft wool. Brocade bodice is trimmed with black band and black velvet. White cotton bunad shirt. The cumberbund is what determines the waist actually and is fastened to the apron. As it is now it measures 24-25\" but there is an overlap in the back of a great 4\" so you can get more by simply moving hooks and snaps. Total length is ca. 38\".
