DESCRIPTION:
This listing is for an \"adorable\" antique bisque head baby doll by German Maker Herm Steiner, 1910+. Measures just under 9\" tall being a bisque flange head, \"celluloid hands\" with molded fingers intact, and original cloth body. Incised on back of head is the intertwined HS mark. This doll is in very nice condition, I do not see any damage except for water stain on the body. No cracks or hairlines on the bisque head. A \"sweet\" little face with open and close blue glass sleepy eyes that work fine, painted lashes around the eyes, brown brows and closed \"down turn\" mouth. Painted lightly orange brown hair. Wears a long antique gown with embroidery trim, some overall wear, light stain but nothing terrible, only safety pin closure at the back. There is a lovely antique bonnet. No longer a slip or undies. Upon request I will remove the head and stuff with tissue for safety in shipping. We wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and tissue but always ask about removing and stuffing the head. I have taken plentyof photos. Please look at my photos they will serve as part of thisdescription. This is a fabulous little antique baby doll for collection, display or gift!
