Extremely rare first French silver mark coffee pot. Pot stands approx 6-1/2" (17cm) tall overall, by approx 5-1/4" wide at it's widest. .950 purity (better than sterling), with Minerva stamp facing fron with letter P to the side, which catalogs the first and only 1 year used silver hallmark for the city of Paris. Used only 1793-1794. Has mark for guarantee medium object Paris, .950 silver and has the maker's mark of ATP in diamond. Piece is marked inside lid, on bottom and on body. Piece is tarnished and has a dime sized dent on one side and a one inch crease dent on the other - darn! Weighs 313 grams with handle. Will be packed carefully to prevent damage.
