A Audio Vintage Wireless Lapel Mic 1970s Stainless Akg Style Made In England:
A very classic, wireless mic, from 1970s England. Very attractive build quality, with nickel plated housings, that contain most likely all discrete, British circuitry.
This piece was nicely constructed in the style of cutting edge AKG stuff from the same period, with the nice attention to detail known by British makes..
The setup appears to have most of it’s wires -- though may not be complete. The transmitter is missing it’s battery pack, and the receiver/preamp may or may not have one still in place.
Transmitter and receiver are nickel / stainless boxes with dings and mild oxidation. Transmitter has meters for balance and battery strength. No battery in transmitter. Condenser mic looks nice, not tested, condition unknown. Includes all shown in photos.
This is being offered to collectors of early Lapel \ Condenser mics -- it has dings, oxidation, and is for parts / restoration.
A really cool piece of period gear, with nice potential resto-mod / mic pre uses -- the makings of a interesting fall project!
I could not find any info on a Audio -- though it was clearly made for professional broadcast / recording of the early 70s to early 80s era.
Includes all items in photo. Untested condition, for parts / restoration.
Packed weight 5lbs, 12 x 10 x 4”.
