A Beautiful And Large W Moorcroft For J Macintyre "poppy" Florian Vase. C1900. For Sale

&amp;amp;amp;lt;img are pleased to offer for sale this absolutely beautiful William Moorcroft designed James Macintyre "Poppy" pattern vase (1 of 2vases the same shape we have listed at the moment, this being the larger. There's also a slender vase of the same pattern coming!). A stunning vase of tapering cylindrical form, expertly tubeline decorated with stylised ragged poppies inthe Art Nouveau manner. The vase features a band of three central floral panels with 3 further lower panels, these are coloured through cobalt blue, mid blue and powder blue. This large and impressivevase stands at 20cm (8") tall x 15cm (6") dia and bears the Florian Ware Mark, W.M. Des incised mark, Rd No 326471 and M733 (shape).
This is a wonderful example of its type, beautifully executed slip trail with real artistic definition and vibrant colours. It has no chips or cracks, but has had a small repair to the top rim as photographed.
