Afabulous and rare antique sterling silver baby's rattle, the body in the form of Peter Pan, with faux ivory teething ring and mother o' pearl handle and complete with silver bells. Fully hallmarked with the anchor for the assay town of Birmingham, the lion passant for the sterling silver standard guarantee, and the date letter 'o' for the year 1913. Maker's mark: C&N for Crisford & Norris, renown makers of some of the best novelty silver of the late 19th early 20th century.

This unusual rattle of large sizeis inlovelyantique condition without any nasty dents or splits, only the usual surface scratches consistent with age and use.It comes complete, and without wear holes. It is an ideal example to add to a good collection. Length: 14.8cm
