A RUSSIAN SOVIET SOLID SILVER-GILT CLOISONNE ENAMEL PICKLE FORK C.1950
This is for an antique Russian solid silver-gilt and cloisonne enamel pickle fork, Soviet Period, circa 1950.
Made of solid silver, with a gilded surface, the handle is decorated with blue and red enamel, within beaded cloisonnes, on a cast stippled ground. The stippled ground is visible beneath the translucent enamel. The fork is clearly hallmarked with the 'hammer and sickle' Soviet period Russian assay mark, and fineness mark '875' to denote 0.875 (84 zolotnick) solid silver. Also marked with the makers mark in Cyrillic script. This pickle fork measures 9.4 cm in length.
The condition is generally excellent, without damage or repair. Please see images.
