A VICTORIAN SOLID SILVER DIMPLED TOP DAISY BORDER SEWING THIMBLE CHESTER 1900
This is for an antique solid silver dimpled top and daisy border sewing thimble, by Charles Horner, hallmarked Chester 1900.
Made of solid silver, with a dimpled pattern top and sides and a daisy pattern border. This is hallmarked with the lion passant sterling silver mark, the rarer three wheatsheaves town mark for Chester, the date letter 'R' for 1900, and the makers initials 'C.H' for Charles Horner. The thimble is also stamped with the size numeral '8'. This thimble measures 2.5 cm in height and 1.8 cm in width. It weighs 4 grams.
The condition is generally excellent, without damage or repair, there are no dents and no holes, the silver has the patina of age. Please see images.
