A large heavy early Victorian silver pair-cased pocket watch in working order:
$136.90

A large heavy early Victorian solid silver pair-cased pocket watch in good working order. The movement by J. Reed of brampton is in very good cosmetic order and winds sets and runs well for the full length of the chain losing approx. 30-40 minutes over a 24 hour period but has not been serviced recently which should improve timing. The balance cock is fitted with a diamond endstone. The dial is in reasonable condition but has a small chip on the sub seconds dial which requires filling (see pictures) and the outer case clip needs to be re-pinned. The cases have matching Birmingham hallmarks for 1855 and are of a good gauge of silver with no discernable dents and only light pocket wear commensurate with age. The silver bow has wear as shown. The watch measures over 54mm across the outer case and weighs over 151g. Sold un-serviced and therefore without guarantee. With minimal attention this will be a nice collectable piece. No key will accompany this watch but the are easily and cheaply available from and other sources. Please see all pictures for further condition information.
