Offering here is an absolutely rare piece which was made around 1880. The stripe design in Prayer rugs is really rare, but the most beautiful part of this rug is a mihrab, with greatprimitivedesign, great characters, animals, stars and many other motifs. It is an absolutely bold and rare prayer rug. The condition is good for its age, It was made with wool on wool foundation and both ends and selvages are complete. There are some small rapairs here and there which done by excellent quality of work and hard to recognize from back and front.
