IMPORTANT CHANGES IN FEES THAT WILL EFFECT YOU.
PLEASE READ.
Starting in July of this year (2011) will now start charging "Final Value fees" based on BOTH the final sale price of the item. AND...THE SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES. The seller community is up in arms over this greedy attempt to make more money for stock holders and inevitbly start chasing small sellers away from offering you deals on small items. Basicly it's going to double the amount it costs the seller in monthly fees for about 40% of the type of items I sell you.
And in may cases the fees for small items like pouches and items less than $8 or $9 the fees charged for shipping will be double or triple the fees for the actual item.
For example. If I sell you an item for $5.95 The final value fee would be $0.45 It would also cost $0.25 for the insertion fee. Lets say you want it shipped Priority mail at $5.95. That's nearly another $0.50 that they will soon be charging us a final value fee on. Then we have the cost of Paypal (just another form of since they own Paypal) $0.72
Thats a total of $1.86 IN FEES ALONE to sell a $5.95 item!! Not to mention the cost of the item, shipping supplies, Gas, lights, storage charges, insurance........You get the picture.
I already pay an average if $1,200 a MONTH in fees alone. I estimate this may now get as high as $1,800 a months. Again just another greedy attempt by to make some huge profits. I do this for a living. And I can NOT take a $600 a month increase. I have no other options but to pass these costs along (like any other business would) to the buyer. I take pride in having the lowest cost items for military items. Just read my response. And I don't want to have to increase prices or shipping. But if I'm to survive I have no other choice.
So in closing PLEASE undersand if the Shipping fees seem just a tad higher than normal. If a finger of blame must be pointed anywhere. Point it at the policy makers at .
