I am working my way through a small attic clearance....there is quite a range of period items coming up this week!! Dating from the19th centurythis is an adorable antique French treen wooden petite apple sewing tape measure.I have left it just as I found it and it would polish as required.The apple has a wonderful pale green blush with its old original paintwork.The petite turned top bar works perfectly to wind the tape in.The tape itself is linen and all still good and strong with its metal end ring intact.There are no cracks , chips or damage and this perfect petite pomme measures:Height 2" (5cms)Diameter 1.25" (3cms)A delicieux period piece perfect for any collection or display.For more Belle brocante chic from simply-chateau please see my other items!PLEASE SEE MY BLOG FOR THE LATEST NEWS FROM THE
